Johna O’Leary
Hey there! I'm Johna O’Leary, and I'm thrilled to have you here. As a venue manager with a passion for the world of hospitality, I'm so excited to be a part of your special event!
With a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, blending business with insights from psychology, I try to bring a unique perspective to every project. I have been in the food and hospitality industry for many years of my life, along with running my event business, O’Leary Events & More . I am so excited to give you my advice and lend a helping hand on this side of the event industry to book the best venue for your day!
Beyond the professional realm, I'm also a proud wife to my husband Jack and a blessed mom to our adorable daughter, Olivia. They are my pillars of support and the fuel behind my drive to create the perfect experience for every guest who walks through our doors. I love drinking coffee, spending time with friends and family, and trying new restaurants! Going out to eat is my favorite! :) The Lord has blessed me immensely and I strive to do everything according to His Will in everything I do.

Welcome to Cross Creek Woods! As lifelong residents of Pickens County, our family and friend groups have grown through the years. What started as an outdoor entertainment area to accommodate these gatherings has turned into a venue that we are excited to be able to share with you.
We have celebrated many milestones on our property throughout our twenty-six years here. Our sons, Luke and Landen, spent many hours as children in the creek and woods near our home so it seemed only fitting to incorporate this into our venue name. We are so fortunate to have the majority of our extended families living in close proximity. As you might expect, some of our most cherished memories have been here on our property. We are so excited to be able to invite you to make your memories here also.
As a Christian family, we believe God’s blessings are meant to be shared. Part of the proceeds from our venue will go to support our missionary friends in Canada, scholarships for church youth camp, and our local church. We are trusting God to do “exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever think or ask” (Ephesians 3:20).

Tucked into the trees of Liberty, South Carolina, Cross Creek Woods was thoughtfully built to hold your most meaningful moments. From the outdoor ceremony site to the cafe-lit pavilion reception space, every corner of this property was designed with intention so that when your day arrives, all you have to do is show up and be present. The details are handled, the space is ready, and the people who love you most are gathered. All that is left is to celebrate.
